To the Beloved Saints of the IFCA,
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus! I trust this letter finds each of you abounding in the goodness and grace of God.
As most of you know, over the course of the last 25+ years, America’s viewpoint on human sexuality has changed dramatically. One of the best examples of this is marriage. Who would have ever dreamed that we would have to define marriage as the sacred union between a natural born man and a natural born woman?
Well, it’s in light of these changing viewpoints that the Executive Board wanted to forward a recent article which we were made aware of titled, “A Coalition for Biblical Sexuality” drafted at the 2017 Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Not only do we believe it speaks well to some of the recent issues of our day; we also believe it can serve as a tremendous and helpful resource.
